Home of the Columbia Brewery, Creston is a town of approximately 5000 people, located on Highway 3 in the heart of the Kootenays. The Town is nestled in an agricultural valley of rolling hills, fields and orchards, and is surrounded by the stunning Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy life, pure and simple with hiking, biking golfing, or boating on one of the biggest fresh water lakes in BC-Kootenay Lake. Now home of the Goat Style Bike Festival, Creston offers an array of things to do for all ages and demographics.
To get to Creston, coming from Vancouver direction, just drive West on Hwy 3. If you’re coming from the Calgary direction, just head East on Hwy 1, then onto Hwy 95, then onto Hwy 3. If you’re coming from the US, just head up! If you’re flying, you have the option of flying into Cranbrook, which then leaves an hour drive to Creston, or you can fly into Spokane and drive North to Creston (flying into Spokane is the most affordable “route” via coming from the US or Internationally). If anyone needs to be picked up, contact us for details pertaining to that service offered.
