What is all the hype about?
Every year, since its conception, Goat Style has grown rapidly, flowing with momentum, generated by excitement and driven by enthusiastic/thrillseeking riders alike. Starting with a few piles of dirt progressing to a full slopestyle park, limits continue to get smashed and such anticipation for the event proceeds to shatter the faint at heart.
After four years of blood, sweat, and tears, Goat Style continues to learn, listen and move forward. It’s rider driven. That means the course is designed by experienced riders, the event is judged by experienced riders, and the festival itself is managed by experienced riders. There is no corporate “to do” that sits back in a big black comfy desk chair and calls the shots. Everyone who plays any sort of role in this event is out there, digging, picking rocks, building, picking up garbage, riding, testing, crashing, and then some. It’s a community, a team effort, a passion that explodes amongst the town of Creston and friends from afar. We’re in this together, to build and maintain an event that provides an opportunity for riders to ride…and ride hard!
Over the course of three days, Goat Style Bike Festival will have riding-slopestyle and Friday Night Lights, expos, music, movies, beer gardens, head to head pump track races, and so much more. You can’t miss this, from any angle. Whether competing or spectating, throwing flips or sitting in lawn chairs, drinking redbull or water (or other stuff), we welcome you to be a part of something big, something really big.
